Udaipur is also know as " City of Lakes" . And Udaipur is a city which attracts a lot of tourists. There many of visiting place like City palace , Lake Palace, Jag mandir, Fate sagar lake........ and many more. Because of which it is also a place with various cuisines. Dal bati churma are main cuisine of this city but people of udaipur also love to eat South Indian food. Dosa , Idli, Uttapam , Vada, Masala Idli, etc are the dishes for which people of udaipur are street food lovers. there are many stalls, resturants and cafes which serve this south indian dishes but if you ask me my personal favorite south indian stall is of "SHANKAR MADRASI"I am fond of south Indian food specially DOSA ,and when ever I have that craving i always visit " SHANKAR MADRASI STALL".
" SHANKAR MADRASI" is one of the best South Indain stall. The own of this South Indian stall is Mr. Vignesh........ basically he is from Tamil Nadu.

He is running this Shankar madrasi stall from last 4 years firstly he was doing this job under his uncle but from last 3 years he is running his own Shankar madrasi cart.
This stall is located in front of sunder vatikanear Vidya niketan School.
He has very specific items on his menu. idli Dosa,vada sambhar, masala dosa, masala idli, plane dosa sambhar..........and many more. These items are served with sambhar, coconut chutney and special madrasi tomato chutney. And if you can ask for extra sambhar and extra chuntey without any extra charges. And the per plate costing is worth rupees 40.
You can enjoy your meal after 5:30 pm till 10 pm. If you want to enjoy the meal at your home you can place your order at zomato also.
