#Tawa #fish fry#


This is my first recipe of "fish". Fish is the world's best source of "Omega 3 fatty acid" and its loaded with "protein" and "vitamin D". Its good for kids also. My kid loves to eat fried fish although there are different styles to cook fish like fish curries, fish pakoda, fried fish and many more. But today  i am glad that the combination of  spices of this recipe goes awesome. Hope you will give a try and let me know how it turn out for you.

Tawa fish fry :-


preparation time -10 mins
marination time 10 mins
cooking time - 15 mins      
total time - 35 mins


Ingredients :-

for washing:-

1 whole lemon juice
2 tbsp salt 

marination:-

1 kg - fish (one bone will be great ) ( cut into nice pieces )
3 tbsp -ginger/ garlic paste
1 tsp -turmeric powder
3 tbsp - chilli powder ( according to taste)
1 whole lemon juice
1/2 cup of atta ( wheat flour)
2 tsp ajwin (optional)
coriander leaves for garnishing
Salt ( according to taste)

Method:-

  • First wash the fish pieces with water, then add salt and lemon juice.mix well and keep aside for 5 mins.
                     
  • After 5 mins again wash the fish properly.
  • Now drain the pieces on tissue paper or on kitchen towel for few minutes.
                    
  • Now take a bowl and add fish, turmeric powder, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, ajwin (optional) and salt. 

 
  • Sprinkle atta and mix it well.
  • Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
                
  • Now heat oil in a pan for shallow fry. Check the oil so that fish doesn't burn
  • One by one place the fish in a pan, and shallow fry both the sides for 5 minutes or till golden brown.
  
  • Dont let the fish burn.
  • Now fish is ready drain on a kitchen towel or tissue paper.
  • For more flavor at this stage you can sprinkle little bit turmeric powder and chilli powder.(this step is optional) 
  • Squeeze lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves.
   


  • serve it hot.

Notes:-

  • Drain the fish properly. (before and after frying.)
  • Do not put the to much atta.
  • Keep checking the fish in between.
  • Do not stir the fish it will break.
  • Do serve it hot with lemon.
