Restaurant style #dry chilli paneer
It is very easy and simple to make restaurant style chilli paneer at home. I ordered it many times when whenever I visit restaurants. But I gave a try to get best restaurant style chilli paneer at home simple ingredients and it tastes delicious. Although this dish is Indo-chinese but it is loved by everyone.
For this dish you just need paneer and some simple ingredients.....First you need to cut paneer into cubes and marinated it with salt chili powder and corn flour. then you have to shallow fry the paneer cubes till golden brown don't let them burn. When your paneer cubes are done with frying drain out on tissue paper. Then for sauce you need oil, you can use same oil which you used for shallow frying, c(garlic chopped onion chop capsicum splitted green chillies soya sauce tomato sauce red chilli sauce vinegar and corn flour mix). Firstly you have to take oil in a pan and chop garlic then add chopped onion saute for few minutes now at capsicum and splitted green chillies saute for another couple of minutes. Now add soya sauce tomato sauce and little bit water. Mix it well. Now you need to add fried paneer and stir it. Now it's time to add cornflour liquid mix. just give a good stir. garnish with fresh coriander leaves. chilli paneer is ready

ingredients
FOR MARINATION
200gms paneer (cubed)
2 tbsp cornflour
2 tsp chilli powder
salt to taste

for sauce
4 tbsp oil ( same oil used for shallow frying)
2 tsp chopped garlic
1 bowl onion ( cubed)
1 bowl capsicum ( cubed)( red,green,yellow)
1-2 green chilli's
2 tbsp soya sauce
2 tbsp tomato sauce
1-2 tbsp chilli sause
1 tbsp vineger
mix ( 2 tsp cornflour + littel water ) to make paste
salt to taste

Method:-
Shallow frying process
- Firstly you need to cut down paneer into cube shape.
- Now mix all the ingredients given for marination except oil. Paneer+ cornflour+ chili powder and salt.
- Mix well and keep aside.
- Now take a heavy bottom pan add oil for shallow frying.
- Oil is done place all the marinated paneer cubes one by one into the oil.
- Shallow fry each side of paneer for few minutes. Don't let them burn.
- When the paneer is done drain on a tissue paper and keep aside.
Making sauce:-
- For making sauce you can use same pan which you use for shallow frying just you need to remove excess of oil just takes three to four tablespoon of oil.
- Heat oil and add chopped garlic, saute it & don't let it burn.
- Add roughly chopped onion and mix well
- Cook for few seconds
- Now add Capsicum and green chillies, stir well.
- Cook for few more minutes and then add soya sauce and tomato sauce and mix well.
- Add little water so that sauce doesn't burn.
- Now add vinegar and mix well, cook for atleast 1 min.
- It's time to add fried paneer in the pan.
- If you can toss, surely do that or give a good stir.
- Cook for couple of minutes.
- Now add cornflour mix , keep stirring.
- Now add chopped coriander leaves.
- Your dry chilli paneer is ready.
- Yummy
Notes:
- Cutting paneer in cube shape will evenly cook.
- If you want authentic taste do not add other veggies apart from onion, capsicum and spring onion.
- Keep everything ready before you start making sauce.
- You add more chilli and salt according to your taste.
